{welcome baby sister gemma - carrollton newborn photographer}

I simply adored meeting this family!! When Taylor first reached out to me, I knew we were going to have the best session ever! She told me she had three boys and they were expecting their girl! When I got to meet them in person, they did not disappoint. The boys were so well mannered and just look at how cute they are! They have the most beautiful family and their little girl Gemma adds the cherry on top.

I absolutely love when I meet all the families that I work with. Every family holds a special place in my heart and I am just so thankful that I get to document the most amazing times in their lives. One of my favorite parts of having them in the studio was styling them, and of course, playing with the sweet boys. You could tell that they absolutely adore their new sister and she will be the princess of the family. I can’t wait to see them all grow and I can’t wait to photograph them again in the future!

If you are expecting a baby, please reach out so that I can take care of everything for you! Contact me and let me know when your due date is and we can get you scheduled!

Far too many women over 40 feel invisible! I think it’s time to change that way of thinking and celebrate women as we age. We should be celebrating our experiences and beauty and many many accomplishments! We deserve to be seen and heard! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate us than to have fun dressing up, getting fancy, and eating CAKE!

I had so much fun celebrating this lovely lady and helping her look and feel fabulous! Beauty doesn’t diminish with age. Sometimes we just need a little help highlighting that beauty and appreciating us for the amazing woman we are!

You can be sexy at any age, and a little bit of glitter and confetti never hurts!

I’d love to celebrate with you! If you or anyone you know has a big day coming up, please don’t hesitate to reach out so I can help you make it special with a customized photo session!

Mothers and their children share an unspoken bond! That feeling of support, comfort, and unconditional love just can’t be replaced! As a mother of two myself, I understand that precious bond! I also understand how quickly they grow and gain independence, it sometimes seems like overnight!

We try our best to cherish each little moment and capture as many pictures as we can to hold on to those sweet memories. All too often we as mom’s are behind the camera and not in front of it.

This is why I love offering Mommy and Me sessions. So my clients can share an amazing experience with their children, while I capture the moment with beautiful heirloom quality photos to be treasured forever! Capturing that love between a mother and child is the perfect way to remind you both just how special you are!

I really wanted to keep this precious baby boy! He was so beautiful and so cuddly! I mean…just look at that hair and those cheeks! I just can’t!!!

The most common color to use with boys is, of course, blue. But I really love using neutral colors like grays and creams. They really complimented his skin tone and that beautiful dark hair! I always ask my clients if they have color preferences so that I can accommodate those, however it’s also so much fun when I am given free rein to be creative!

This was simply a perfect newborn session with this little charmer! He was a dream to work with and we were able to capture some great images of this sleepy boy!

If you like what you see and have a new little one of your own, please contact me! I’d love to work with you and capture some precious memories!

Look at this beautiful baby girl I had in the studio for a newborn session this week! She was so darling, and this sweet family was so much fun to work with!

I always like to prepare my families before each newborn sessions by sending them a preparation guide. It includes tips to ensure the best experience possible! Some of my suggestions include bringing a pacifier, even if the baby isn’t currently taking one. This is a great way to soothe the baby while we are getting them into different poses. I also advise parents to feed the baby right before they arrive for their session and try to keep the baby awake as much as possible the morning of. Having a sleepy, full baby makes the shoot go so smooth and allows us to get those perfect sleepy baby images like you can see below!

This family did a great job preparing for the session and you can tell it paid off with some adorable pictures they can cherish forever!

Beautiful little Briella was such a perfect doll for this newborn session!!!

She kept her parents awake the whole night before hand, so I know they were exhausted, but sleepy babies are perfect for getting those darling shots! She was just an angel the whole time!

I am OBSESSED with the vintage lacy outfit and bonnet set she is wearing below! It’s so delicate and beautiful and looked perfect on this delicate beautiful baby!

She really looks just like a baby doll and I was simply delighted that I got to dress her up in so many different colors, textures, and try different styles. I still can’t believe sometimes that this is my JOB!!!! I’m so blessed! I can’t wait to get your Newborn session booked today!

{presenting winnie - bernedoodle puppy}

Guys!! Look what we got!!! Our very first family dog! I’m so happy to present Winnie, our bernedoodle puppy. She is absolutely wonderful:)

When I say I did research on dog breeds beforehand, I MEAN I did a ton of research on what the “best” breed for us and the best all-around breed (in my opinion). And I found that the bernedoodle breed is amazing!! They are hypoallergenic, they don’t shed, they were literally designed for families and specifically families with children, they are goofy, sweet, and loyal, and not to mention they are seriously adorable! Another big part of our decision is that the breeder is a friend of mine! So I know she came from a good family and was well taken care of before coming to us!

So far Winnie has been so great :) She is so very smart and has already learned to sit and come on command. She’s cuddley, playful, patient (esp with Lylah-Joye lol), happy, and a joy!

Little did she know that she was joining a photographer’s family and now she will have to endure many photo shoots!! This is her very first photo session with me and definitely the first on MANY! Because she’s too cute not to photograph in my studio!

Also, I promise she has eyes LOL, that black fit just covers them up!!!
