Happy birthday to sweet Hollis!! Goodness, he is just the cutest ever and I swear if his parents let me, I would keep him! When his momma told me that the theme would be an airplane I got so excited. And when I saw the classic wooden airplane I fell in love! And of course, Hollis did so well with it and gave the cutest smiles and was absolutely adorable in his pilot’s helmet.

I consider my style to be very simple and neutral focusing mainly on baby, but I adore when we can add props that go along with my aesthetic. And this airplane and helmet go absolutely perfectly!

Happy birthday to one of the cutest girls around!! I photographed Lincoln for her sitter session just six months ago and it is amazing how much she’s grown and changed. She was a perfect subject for a cake smash and loved the cake but didn’t get too messy! And not to mention how gorgeous she and her mom and dad are!!

I love one-year photography sessions for so many reasons. I love how smiley and sweet babies are at that age! Plus who doesn’t like watching a sweet baby dig into a cake and smash it all over! I have had the pleasure of photographing Malia and her family for around 2 years now and I have so enjoyed watching their sweet family grow!! It truly feels like I was just photographing Max when he was this little!! I am happy to watch my clients as they add in more babies and celebrate all of the milestones! I cant wait to see them at our next session :)

My one-year/smash cake sessions are so special and I try and take the time to document every sweet detail of your growing little one. I like to get them in around three different outfits and of course them with their cake! I can provide every outfit, plus headbands, props and even the cake!! Leaving absolutely no worries on your end!! In fact, you can bring your kiddos in their pajamas and let me provide the rest :)

Funny story about Malia’s session… I love to ask parents for ideas or feedback on the vision they have for the session. Her sweet momma sent me a few ideas and an adorable dress she asked if she should order for the session. Well, it turned out that the dress that she was about to purchase, I actually already had in my studio wardrobe!! Same color and everything! So it was one less thing for her to buy or worry about and I LOVE that I am able to provide such a stress-free and ENJOYABLE photography experience!! Side note, she also brought a little romper she had as an option, and I had that one too!! She has good taste if I do say so myself :)

It is so rewarding watching your babies grow up, and at the same time sad to see time pass so quickly!! One of the best gifts to receive is to have your sweet baby’s features and adorable face beautifully and professionally captured in photos. I have loved seeing this sweet family grow and change from her newborn photography session, to this one year session. Definitely can’t forget to mention how fun it is to watch them tear into their birthday cake too!! Happy one year Mckinley!!
